Custom Cabinetry Designed and Built In-House

Every cabinet drawn, milled, and finished in our own South Florida shop — never outsourced, never off-the-shelf.

Overview

Cabinetry is the discipline C.E. Customs was built on. Kitchens, primary baths, closets, libraries, media walls, home offices, wine rooms — the millwork that gives a luxury home its personality is designed, drawn, milled, and finished by our own team in our own shop. No box brand. No overseas subcontractor. No compromises on reveals.

Because we're both the designer and the shop, we can commit to details other firms can't quote: inset construction, hand-fit reveals, book-matched veneers, integrated appliance panels, custom paint grades, and hardware inset flush to the face. We build what the drawing shows.

Our cabinetry work stands alone as a service — many South Florida homeowners engage us for cabinetry-only projects — and it's the same shop that supports every kitchen, bathroom, and whole-home remodel we deliver.

The C.E. Customs Method

Our process, start to finish.

  1. Step 01

    Design & Drawings

We measure the room, listen to how you'll use it, and produce elevations and 3D renderings that show every reveal before we cut wood.

  2. Step 02

    Shop Milling

Cabinet boxes, doors, and drawers are milled in our shop from your selected species. You approve wood, stain, and hardware samples in person.

  3. Step 03

    Finishing

Every piece is sanded, sealed, and finished in a controlled environment — the difference between cabinetry that ages well and cabinetry that doesn't.

  4. Step 04

    Installation

Our own installers template, hang, and scribe every cabinet on site — the same team that built them signs off on the reveals.

Materials & Craftsmanship

Built with materials worth keeping.

We work in rift-sawn white oak, walnut, cherry, and maple, plus a curated selection of wood veneers for large-scale panels. Painted grades are sprayed in conversion-varnish finishes that stand up to daily use far better than latex or standard cabinet paint.

Hardware is solid brass, bronze, or nickel from a short list of foundries we've used for years. Every drawer runs on soft-close undermount slides and every door on concealed European hinges — invisible engineering behind visibly considered design.

Frequently Asked

Questions we hear often.

Do you sell cabinetry without doing the full renovation?

Yes. Many of our cabinetry projects are stand-alone — a new closet system, media wall, wine room, or replacement kitchen cabinetry within an existing space.

What's the lead time on custom cabinetry?

Design and drawings typically take three to five weeks; shop production runs eight to fourteen weeks depending on scope and finish. We commit to a written schedule at contract.

Do you match existing cabinetry or millwork?

Often, yes. Bring us a sample, photos, and existing dimensions and we'll assess whether an exact species/stain/hardware match is achievable.

Can you work from my designer's drawings?

Yes. We regularly execute cabinetry from an architect's or interior designer's plans and produce shop drawings for their approval before milling.

Where is the cabinet shop?

Our shop is in South Florida, servicing Boca Raton and surrounding communities. You're welcome to visit and see work in progress by appointment.
