Commercial Construction and Renovations in South Florida

Restaurants, offices, retail, and hospitality build-outs finished to residential-luxury standards — brand-forward interiors executed on commercial timelines.

Overview

When a commercial space needs to feel like a destination rather than a build-out, C.E. Customs is a natural fit. We bring the same in-house design and cabinetry discipline behind our luxury homes to restaurants, private offices, boutique retail, medical, and hospitality projects across South Florida.

Commercial work asks for a different rhythm — opening dates, landlord approvals, life-safety code — but the standards we hold on finish, joinery, and lighting don't change. The bar, the millwork, the reception desk, the private-office walls: all detailed and built with the same rigor as a private home.

We're comfortable running commercial projects from design through opening, or coming in behind an architect and interior designer as a build partner focused on execution and finish-out quality.

The C.E. Customs Method

Our process, start to finish.

  1. Step 01

    Program & Feasibility

We walk the space with you, confirm code and landlord constraints, and produce a program tied to your opening date.

  2. Step 02

    Design & Documentation

Plans, elevations, renderings, and finish selections are developed together and issued for permit.

  3. Step 03

    Build

A dedicated foreman runs our in-house crew and licensed trades on a single schedule engineered around your opening.

  4. Step 04

    Turnover

We hand over a commissioned, cleaned, brand-ready space with punch complete — not a punch list to chase after opening.

Materials & Craftsmanship

Built with materials worth keeping.

Commercial doesn't have to mean generic. We spec materials — real stone, hardwoods, solid-brass hardware, custom paint — that hold up under commercial traffic while looking nothing like a standard build-out.

Where a design leans on high-touch finishes, we plan the maintenance cycle with you in advance: which materials will patina, which will need periodic refinishing, and which we're intentionally choosing for exactly that character.

Frequently Asked

Questions we hear often.

What kinds of commercial projects do you take?

Restaurants, bars, boutique retail, private offices, medical suites, spa and wellness, and small hospitality projects. We focus on interiors where design quality matters.

Can you work on a tight opening schedule?

Yes — and we plan around it. We build a written critical path from permit to opening day and adjust in weekly meetings with you.

Do you handle landlord and permitting coordination?

Yes. We manage landlord approval packages, tenant-improvement documentation, and permit submissions as part of every commercial engagement.

Do you work outside Boca Raton?

Yes. Our commercial work reaches broader South Florida — reach out with the address and use case and we'll confirm we're a fit.

Are you licensed and insured for commercial work?

Yes — fully licensed and insured, with the credentials and insurance limits typical commercial landlords and municipalities require.
